A woman’s smile can be the difference between a good day and a bad day. You might just find yourself at the town’s most unpopular theatre one night because you didn’t feel like being with your friends or studying or being at home or whatever—the list goes on. Upon entering you immediately feel like a bag of popcorn might do well to accompany you during a movie, so you proceed to the food bar as one might normally do to satisfy the craving. No one’s at the register so you wait awhile because the employee might be busy fucking another employee in the bathroom or some weird, kinky thing like that. I don’t know; I have an outrageous imagination. But to your surprise, you see this gorgeous girl walking up to the register. As if in some slow motion movie scene, she smiles at you and suddenly it feels like an immense wave of euphoria just flooded into your chest. She simply says: “Hi, how can I help you today?” And you’re at a loss of words. After a good 10 seconds—which is like 5 minutes in the realm of your choking mind—you ask for a bag of popcorn and just try to get on to the movie auditorium before you make a fool of yourself. Before you could even make a clean leave, she asks what movie you’re going to watch as if she’s legitimately interested in what you’re going to watch. You reply to her in the most shaky, timid voice and you already see it coming and this is the part where your thoughts start to revolve around her even when she’s a complete stranger and without the slightest ounce of effort, a smile is born from her luscious lips.. again. You kind of wish you had the balls to make a compliment but your tongue just felt like coiling into a knot that day. Still, who would’ve thought that a random trip to the shittiest theatre on earth would be so worthwhile: the girl who served you a small bag of popcorn. You probably savored every last bite, didn’t you?
